MIKE ADAMS
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mike joined Crestview in 1994 as the activity director. In 2003, he received his Administrator’s License and was promoted to Admissions Director. In 2004, he was promoted to Administrator. Prior to joining Crestview, Mike worked with cerebral palsy patients providing rehabilitative therapy at the C.P. Rehab Center in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Adams graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and received his Certified Aging Services Professional certification in 2012 from the University of North Texas.
DAVID SIMS
Healthcare Administrator
Joining the team in 2021, David brought a wealth of experience, both as an Administrator and Executive Director, to the position. He graduated from UT Arlington where he obtained a degree in business administration. While he is originally from Waco, he comes to the Bryan-College Station area from a senior community in Longview, where he held a similar position. He is passionate about serving elders and equipping staff to excel in their role.
JENNIFER LAVALAIS
Director of Nursing
Jennifer joined the Crestview team in 2022 as the Director of Nursing. As a nurse for 22 years, Jennifer has worked in the urgent care & hospital setting, however throughout her career, she has primarily worked in long-term care. Taking care of people has always been a passion of hers, and she feels Blessed to be able to pursue her passion as she helps provide care for our elders. Born in San Antonio, Jennifer grew up in a military household and has lived in Michigan, Louisiana and Texas. When she is not serving our elders, Jennifer enjoys cooking Louisiana Cajun food and spending time with her family including her amazing husband Tony, their children Tasha, Brionna & Tj, and their granddaughter, Kennedi.
KARA BAYER
ASSISTED LIVING DIRECTOR
Kara Bayer joined Crestview in 2022 as the Assisted Living Director. She graduated from Sam Houston State with a BS in Kinesiology, and made her way back home to College Station, where she served as the Assisted Living Director at The Langford. Kara received her Administrator’s License in 2018 and most recently became a Certified Dementia Practitioner Trainer. Every day she comes to work striving to better the lives of the elders at Crestview. When she is not working, you can find Kara spending time spending time with her family and friends.
MARIA TREVINO
Director of Sales and Marketing
Maria's journey with Crestview started in 2023. She has a degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University and brings a varied breadth of experience through her work in the legal field, as well as the hospice industry and working with youth. Throughout her career she has been drawn to roles that allow her to serve both people and the community at large. Though she is from Dallas originally, she has resided in Bryan, Texas for over 20 years and loves the big, small town feel of Aggieland. She has a passion for both working for and supporting Non-profits and enjoys both volunteering and attending fundraising events in her spare time. She has two teenage children who love sports, and you can find her cheering on a field or sideline of either her kids' teams or the Texas Aggies on the nights and weekends.
Samantha 'Sam' Bell
Senior Living Counselor
Sam is originally from Tennessee, though she has lived in Texas, specifically Bryan-College Station, for 8 years. She absolutely adores all things Aggieland. Sam joined the healthcare community back in 2018 as the Therapy Tech at a skilled nursing home. She then grew further in her career in healthcare by moving into business development. Sam started at Crestview in 2024. Her passion for elders ignited through her dad who is a hospice Chaplain in town. Growing up serving in her church and small-town community, she knew that she was meant to continue to show God's work by serving in her career. She enjoys coaching gymnastics, spending time with family and friends, and of course, all Aggie or town events. You can also always find her with her Chihuahua, Phoebe.
JENNY PETTIT
Human Resources Coordinator
Jenny is a Bryan girl through and through, she was born and raised here. She spent most of her life working in the family business until she was led to Crestview in 2014. “Working here has truly been a blessing to me. When I walk through the front doors, I immediately feel the love from all of my Crestview family” Jenny and her husband John enjoy taking spontaneous road trips and love spending time with their two grandsons.
ELIZABETH WISHERT
SOCIAL WORker
Elizabeth “Liz” Wishert was born and raised in Indiana and relocated to Texas in 2006. Liz’s love for elder care began at a young when she would visit the residents at the community in her hometown. Liz received her Bachelor of Social Work from Olivet Nazarene University. Liz joined the Crestview family in 2022 after a leaving a 15-year long career in hospice care. Since joining the Crestview family, she has become a Certified Dementia Practitioner and an Eden Torch Bearer. When not at work, you will find her spending time with her husband and daughter.
MIKE RICHARDS
Director of Physical Plant
Mike joined Crestview in 1997. His work in facility maintenance spans a total of 25 years. As Director of Maintenance, Mike is responsible for the operation, security and maintenance of all campus buildings, equipment and grounds. He also focuses on preventive maintenance to ensure the integrity of Crestview facilities. He is highly skilled in building maintenance, grounds maintenance, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, machinery and equipment. MRC enjoys being able to draw on Mike’s expertise for new construction and existing community renovations.
STACIE CHILDRESS
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/BILLING SPECIALIST
Stacie joined MRC in 2015 initially serving as Billing Specialist, then received a promotion to HUD Accountant and most recently Executive Assistant. Stacie feels privileged to serve our beloved seniors, never allowing her title to limit or minimize how she serves them and our mission. She deeply believes in our mission and is committed to ensuring our seniors, as well as their loved ones, have peace of mind knowing that choosing Crestview to be their forever home was the best, right decision. When not at work she can be found spending quality time with her beloved family, which consists of an adoring husband of 20 years, two sons, and one daughter.
REV. GARY ADAMS
CHAPLAIN
Gary has served as chaplain at Crestview since 2007. He was ordained as a minister with the Assemblies of God in 1979. Gary has pastored several churches in Texas since 1982 and was the founding pastor of Cross Mountain Church in San Antonio, Texas, in 1997. Gary retired from active pastoral ministry and moved to Bryan in 2007. His work experience also includes a 27-year career as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. He obtained his license as a registered nurse in 1964.
REV. DAVID HENRY
Chaplain
Rev. David Henry joined the amazing team at Crestview this September after serving in the United Methodist Church as a music minister for 48 years, the last 25 years as an ordained Deacon. His wife Dala teaches in the special education program for Bryan ISD and they have one daughter, Addie who teaches elementary music in the Liberty Hill school district near Georgetown. Having a history of coming to Crestview to minister since 1999, David says that officially being on the MRC staff is like “coming home!”
CHAD HOJNOSKI
DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES
Chad Hojnoski is the Director of Dining Services here at Crestview. Chad’s areas of focus are that of healthcare and hospitality.
Chad has 35+years in the university, healthcare, and hospitality fields. His training background is that of OSHA 10 certification, Serv Safe Manager certification, TABC, fine dining etiquette and wine service, and currently working towards his CDM. He has also spent numerous years working for corporations such as Disney, Corning Inc., Aramark, as well as many hospitals and university settings.
In Chad’s spare time he enjoys soccer, golf, football, basketball, tennis, and spending time with his family; especially his 2 year old twin grandkids.
ED THOMPSON
Executive Chef
Ed Thompson joined Crestview as the Executive Chef in August 2023. He brings many years of experience and lots of passion in his field of culinary arts. He has been in Bryan/ College and been working as a Personal Chef for Texas A&M specializing in sorority/fraternity food service programs. Prior to working at A&M he was the Food Service Director, and Executive Chef for Camp Allen. Ed feels that it is an honor to be able to serve our elders!
