Chloe is a little overweight. She snores a little loud. And she loves a lot of people. Chloe is a German Short-haired Pointer (a rescue dog) who is maybe seven-ish years old. Chloe arrives every day at work ready to, well, make her way to her bed and nap in mom’s office because meetings are long and boring for puppies. Once the meetings are over, it is off to see the people.
Chloe regularly makes her way into visiting residents in the therapy room and encourage her two legged friends working on rehab skills. She occasionally gives out a hand shake or a high five for a job well done (or a treat). Chloe loves to take a stroll around the Memory Care Garden and check for any trespassers such as geckos, lizards, birds or squirrels. Then it’s back in to say hello to her Memory Care friends who don’t always remember her name but always have a smile and a loving touch for her.
Throughout the day, Chloe has been known to visit friends who are confused and need calm or feeling lonely in need of a little puppy love. She also has sat with friends who just needed a furry friend while they talk about hard things, things forgotten, loved ones going and some already gone.
Well known for her stylish appearance every Friday, Chloe shows off her outfits with flair and even dons specialty swag for holiday cheer. Chloe is well loved by her residents at Crestview Court and continues to be a Furever friend to all those who need her.
